“3 is the magic number…”

The Jacob’s Puzzle Foundation, or “The JPF”, is based on three foundational pillars:

Scholarship

Success in academic endeavors is the top priority, by providing individualized and structured interventions to address reading difficulties that impact a student’s ability to obtain mastery in their IEP and 504 plan goals.

Career

Skill and ability should never prevent any student, regardless of their learning ability or disability, socioeconomic status, or academic success, all should be afforded opportunity to explore careers and opportunities tailored to their interests and skills.

Independence

“Progress, Not Perfection” where being independent is in the eyes of the student and their ability to employ the transferable skills learned from interventions and immersion. Independency addresses the growth in student academic progress towards skill mastery, ownership over their social-emotional learning and wellbeing, exposure to various professional industries and opportunities, and agency over their own trajectory of interests and accomplishment of goals.
